Hi,

Finally the 2.12 version of the Wordpress Flash Uploader is available too. This is the new stuff:

• Updated the flash to TFU 2.12
• Now tested up to WordPress 3.0.3!
• Tabs in the media library popup are now available again.
• Sync is now triggered by the uploader automatically in the free version!
• Delete of files in the flash does now sync the library as well.
• Enhanced file filter for registered users to hide generated thumbnails, middle and large images.

To enable the new features some enhancements where made to TFU as well. This is why TFU and JFU have a small update as well where this new version is integrated.

TFU 2.12 update:

This where the changes I made for WFU and of course they are now avaliable in the standalone version as well:

• New: $forbidden_view_file_filter – This is the most advanced filter to hide files. fnmatch is used so you can use e.g. a*.txt, exa*e.log. Seperate different filters by komma.
• New: $zip_file_pattern – You can define how the file name of the zip does look like. Please read the doc in tfu_config.php.

JFU 2.12 update:

TFU 2.12 from above is included. The new settings are not available in the administration. If you want to change this settings you will have to change tfu_config.php directly. They wil be available in JFU 2.13 when I update the database as well.

TWG 1.8.3 update:

TFU 2.12 from above is included and twg_offset was limited to 3 – I increased it to 4 for people with more than 1000 images in one directory.

If you like one of the new features of TFU please update. Otherwise there is not need to . The internal build is now 1.8.3.3 which can be seen in the version.txt of the download.

This was the last planned update for this year – many stuff will come next year . So sty tuned.

Hi,

On some servers the variable SERVER_NAME is not set properly while PHP_SELF is.

But SERVER_NAME is save agains cross site scripting. So I added some checks to PHP_SELF and this is now as save and therefore I use PHP_SELF now again.

So if you have problems with TWG 1.8.3 – Just update 1.8.3…

Dear JFU/TFU/TWG users,

A security company was testing TWG against security problems like cross site scripting and all kind of injections because there are so many different ways to hack a site. Thanks to the researcher Russ McRee who discovered some vulnerabilities and coordinated their disclosure between Secunia and me. TWG 1.8.3 is now the most secure version ever.

Please update to this version as soon as possible. If you have any problems please let me know.
If you use the admininstration in French, Danish or Dutch please update the language files as well.

In this version are also new features like recursive custom config.php, a new user rolle and TFU 2.12 included.
In the forum and the blog I have listed all the new stuff and fixes.

Hi,

I have made some small optimizations at TWG:

• Fix: \r in a caption is now replaced as well because this caused a JS error in the slideshow
• Fix: In the my_session.php was some debug code which was in the iframes shown when you where logged in.
• Fix: When the slideshow is started $album_tree_default_open is set to false;

Hi,

I have made a small update of TWG:

• New: IPad Support – If an iPad is detected the flash thumbnail trip is replaced with the AJAX navigation because the ipad does not support flash.
• Fix: I removed the flickering in the big thumbnailstrip on the right side.
• Fix: The new slideshows do now support background images with IE as well – before a white box was shown.

If you have a background image in the slideshow please update to the latest version or delete the back.png in the iframes folder. I added this for testing and forgot to remove it. This version was only online for ~2 hours.

TWG 1.8.2 is available

TWG has now 2 jQuery slideshows, a fading effect on the detail page, a flash thumbnailstrip with 120 pix, TFU 2.11.1 and a few other small improvements.
You should update because this version fixes all known issues!

Especially the slideshows are pretty cool because you can choose between 28 different effects and the slideshows don’t need the special .slide.jpg cache images anymore – this means you only need half of the cache size from now on!!!

Hi,

TWG 1.8.1 is in the last testing pase right now.

I have fixed the following stuff:

Fix: The close icon for delete comments where not mapped after changing to sprites
Fix: The lightbox is now working on the search if you have albums too. Before the lighbox was working if only images where found.
Fix: The download link below FLV videos was not working after exchanging the link with AJAX because different links for the player and the link are needed. Now this is done.
