Immediately after adding the target URL for the iframe I get the error "this block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed."
The iframe will still display the content if I preview it but I can not add any other configuration information to the block

Which version of Wordpress, advanced iframe and php are you using?
As a workaround please use the shortcode block.
