Hi again,

i am trying to use hide_content_until_iframe_color="#ffffff|keep" in the shortcode but everytime i want to save it wordpress (6) is showing an json error (the response isnt a valid json-response).

If i remove the hide_content... in the shortcode its working... Is it a bug or do i anything wrong?

many thanks

Hi,

you are using the block editor?
Does hide_content_until_iframe_color="#ffffff"
make the same problem?

have you tried the classic editor as well?

I will check tonight what can cause the problem.

Best regards,

Michael

@admin yes I am using the block editor... And yes, without the keep the same error happens.

I haven't tried the classic editor but I will...

I have tried a little bit around and it looks like the json error happens only when I use the hide_content... together with specific other options. Because I have written another shortcode with other options and there it's working...

But I don't know which combination results in this error... I have to try a little bit to find some working and some not working combinations.

I already found the issue. It is the auto save functionality which seems to work different now.

There the detection that the Gutenberg editor is active returns false by the Wordpress method :(.

I also found a solution. There is a method I can check if it is the auto save call.

I will add this to the next version.

So the classic editor should work fine for now. If you need a quick solution please let me know and I create a patch for you. I'm currently working on a new other feature so I do not have a stable local version.

Best regards,

Michael
