my site:
https://coronadoislandfilmfest.seashorewebdesign.com/2017-festival-schedule-printable/

instructions I'm following:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/iframe-do-not-mix-http-and-https

Trying to follow the above directions in order to embed a schedule from out printers who are hosting it http, whereas my site is https. I made sure to enable "Use post message for communication" on the "External workaround" tab. But I don't understand how to follow #2. Copy the generated ai_external.js to a https domain and include it from there! Remember to copy the ai_external.js each time you change something with the "save" icon in the administration.

The code I tried to use before realizing http is incompatible is:
<div align="center"> [advanced_iframe src="http://flip.pagesuite.com/DefaultPopup.aspx?w=300&h=300&pbid=50778bd9-ff3b-456f-b79f-d2b8d007a4b3&eid=e936d422-6c78-4576-ad48-7b7e36770217&pages=6&autoflip=4000" width="800" height="750"]</div>

Hi,

what is now the question? Because you did the solution which wokrs if you have a http site and you want to include a https site there.
But you have the other way around and there I have written at:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/iframe-do-not-mix-http-and-https
-> HTTP pages cannot be included directly into HTTPS pages!

Then the only thing you can try is:
