Post subject:  Advanced iframe Page Cache

Hello...

Does Advanced iframe have built in caching? I loaded a html frame on my page and it displayed normally. Then, I deleted the html document in my directory, yet it still appears on my page. Even, after I refresh the page.

I do not have any caching plugins running on my site.

If Advanced iframe does have caching, can I turn it off, so I can update the html and it will display correctly each time.

If it doesn't have caching, do you have any ideas of what I might need to do to be able to update the html and get it to display each time the page is viewed?

TIA

Peter

No - this is the cache of your browser. They cache iframe content...

Clear the browse cache and then you should be fine...

Thanks, that explains what's happening, but that doesn't solve the problem. :-(

I want visitors to be able to view the page without having to clear their browser's cache. It's a results page that gets updated all the time.

Is there a way I can force the page to clear for users each time they view the page?

Thanks,

Peter

yes. check the documentation of the src parameter.

{timestamp} can be added to to the src parameter like ?t={timestamp}

Then the url is a different time every time and not cached by the browser.
