Post subject:  http video included in a https page

Hi,

I bought the Pro version and I'm a bit confused how to do the workaround to include http video in a https website.

Example: the iframe URL is:
http://play.streamkit.tv/content/channel/adventist_at/vod/2017/3/dimineata.player.html
(this website doesn't use https yet)

The parent website where I include this is:
https://tv2.intercer.net/predici/dimineata.html
in this page I put this code:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxxxxxxx" src="http://play.streamkit.tv/content/channel/adventist_at/vod/2017/3/dimineata.player.html" width="620" height="453"]

In the header of tv2.intercer.net Wordpress website I put this in the <head> section:
<script>
var updateIframeHeight = "true";
var keepOverflowHidden = "false";
var enable_external_height_workaround="true";
var use_shortcode_attributes_only="true";
</script>
<script src="https://tv2.intercer.net/wp-content/plugins/advanced-iframe/js/ai_external.js"></script>

but it is now showing the video. It says: "Http iframes are not shown in https pages in many major browsers. Please read this post for details."

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Lucian

Yes, I read the page with instructions for the workaround, but I am not sure I did it right.

Can you please check the details I posted before?

Where is the ai_external.js supposed to be placed? On the remote site or on the current website where I included the iframe?
(I placed it on the current website, which has https)

Thanks,

Lucian

I can only repeat myself:
Http iframes are NOT shown in https pages.

There is NO workaround. This is a browser restriction! if your main page is HTTPS your page in the iframe NEEDS to be HTTPS also!

Only the other way around this can be done like described in the blog and in the example.

My site is https and a few of the iframes I want to post are http (with no https option). I understand this is blocked in some browsers but appears to work just fine in the browsers I've tested. My question is this: can I remove the code that says "Http iframes are not shown in https pages in many major browsers. Please read this post for details."?

If so, where can I turn this text off?

Sorry, I found it in includes>advanced-iframe-main-iframe.php and changed the explanation to a &nbsp; space so now it doesn't show up.

Which browsers do display this fine? Chrome, IE, FF for Windows for example do not.
Can you show me an url?

Best, Michael
