I want to allow a user to select an option from a drop down field and then have that selection sent to me with the notification email. Is this possible? e.g. A user is uploading a file to our servers but I need to know which file I need to send to which person on my team so I would like them to choose from a dropdown list of names that I have entered into the form. Any idea about doing this? Is it possible? |

Okay, awesome. A few questions though. I added the html using the Joomla Admin area and I now see it on the form. Where do I add the javascript? And how do I make the selected value included in the upload email? Thanks for the help! |

You add the javascript also to the page. And for the value you need to use a plugin like described in the howto. If you want to add this to the e-mail I recommend to use the e-mail plugin and extend this. Best, Michael |
