Hi, Thanks for taking the time to read this thread...
I am currently building a website (college project)... and I need to setup a custom permissions scenario:
Website for teachers to upload / manage internal verification documents.
To have a file repository that gives the following:
Each user has 2 folders to their name:
josh folder 1
josh folder 2
(eg. ->name+' folder 1')
Any registered user can upload documents into another users folder but cannot view contents in other tutors' folders... except for the super admin (aka new group called: 'power user') and administrator.
Other specifics mentioned:
Email notifications to power user.
folders and the file contents in a drill down style.
users can filter files list in their folder using "academic year, semester or owner" - I understand this one might be a little far-fetched... but I will see what I can do to minic this requirement. (I have setup a file search feature... so I guess I could talk about this as a 'future improvement'
Site:
http://iv.amazewebs.net (p.s. This is something I just threw together in an hour or so... so ignore the poor layout etc ^^ )
Users:
Site admin (able to view all folders, register new user and assign role)
Power tutor (able to view all folders but cannot register new users)
Tutors (able to view own folder and feedback on own file)
