Post subject: | Error Undefined io |
Hi, I have made the flash uploader available to many of my customers and most of them are able to use it without any problems. However, one of them reported a problem today where they are getting an "error undefined io" message when they click the upload button on the flash uploader. I have a file limit of 512KB but the image file they were attempting to upload was only 40KB. Do you have any idea what causes this error to appear? Thanks Gav |

The problem does normally come if the tfu_upload.php cannot be accessed. maybe a firewall/proxy problem ? /Michael |

Ok thanks. I'll go back to them to see if it might be something along those lines. |

Hi Michael, I'm still having issues with the error io message appearing. I've got many customers that use the flash uploader, most seem ok with it and some cant access it at all. We have tried remove spyware blockers and anti-virus from their machines but the problems still persists. I've had one today where someone was able to use the uploader this morning but when they have tried again it comes up with the io error again. Is there any way at all of trapping this and seeing why the error appears in the first place. Any help or thoughts that you have on this will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Gav |

weired - maybe a kind of caching of a system or a firewall. Or a timeout problem? If it's critical I always recommend to offer a html backup solution for this case. /Michael |

like in TWG you offer a link with an html upload - e.g for people that don't have flash installed. /Michael |
