I've installed the Joomla uploader for 1.5. The uploader works on the Admin side, but the Flash isn't visible on the frontend. There's just an empty white space, because the Flash hasn't loaded.

Is this a config or CHMOD issue or ?

no - This is a know problem if you have SEF enabled.

I already have a workaround for this on my local build but this is not ready yet to be released. I want to integrate the latest version of TFU and there I currently working on a retry functionality.

That's very unfortunate, since all my sites use SEF. It's the only frontend uploader that I've found, but I want to use on J1.5 sites.

Any idea on when this will be ready or just the SEF issue fixed?

get the new rc2 - the version I sent you had a button on the navigation that was not mapped for 1.5.x.
