Hi,

With your Advanced iframe support can we influence the external website in the iframe to make this responsive?

See: http://www.testhethier.nl/test/

We have tried this with a responsive wordpress theme.

Best regards, Tim

This really depends on the remote page and your requirements.
Are you able to use the external workaround to modify css dynamically?
Is maybe zoom an option for you?

Best, Michael

Hi, Thanks for your fast answer!

We are using this iframe for it:

http://promotionalcontent.promidata.com/dutch7393/zoeken.asp?index=&cat_Search=Aanstekers&text_Hidden=&text_Voorraad=&boxcolor=BAD80A&sc=n&pId=984&bgtxtcolor=666666&emaildealer=info%40korverintertrade.nl&nrflnsts=5&backcolor=FFFFFF&fId=1&sp=n&mustreset=yes&price_Search=&naamdealer=Korver+Intertrade&text_Search=

We cannot change this css on this link. What we want is that the products come below each other. That the page looks responsive.

Check http://www.testhethier.nl/test/ on your mobile, you can see the iframe isn't beautiful. The iframe is visible with full width.

Do you have any solution?

Best regards, Tim

Hi Michael,

This page

http://promotionalcontent.promidata.com/dutch7393/zoeken.asp?index=&cat_Search=Aanstekers&text_Hidden=&text_Voorraad=&boxcolor=BAD80A&sc=n&pId=984&bgtxtcolor=666666&emaildealer=info%40korverintertrade.nl&nrflnsts=5&backcolor=FFFFFF&fId=1&sp=n&mustreset=yes&price_Search=&naamdealer=Korver+Intertrade&text_Search=

we can only change colors and not make the page smaller or something.

On http://www.testhethier.nl/test/ we can control everything, this is our wordpress installation. Do you know some way using your extension to make the content of http://promotionalcontent.promidata.com looks nice intp a wordpress theme which is responsive? What is the best solution?

Regards, Tim

Hi,

What do you mean with:
Can you please answer my question: Are you able to use the external workaround to modify css dynamically?

The link
http://promotionalcontent.promidata.com/dutch7393/zoeken.asp?index=&cat_Search=Aanstekers&text_Hidden=&text_Voorraad=&boxcolor=BAD80A&sc=n&pId=984&bgtxtcolor=666666&emaildealer=info%40korverintertrade.nl&nrflnsts=5&backcolor=FFFFFF&fId=1&sp=n&mustreset=yes&price_Search=&naamdealer=Korver+Intertrade&text_Search=
We cannot change the css of it.

We can only add this link into an iframe of our wordpress installation www.testhethier.nl. On www.testhethier.nl our wp-installation we can control everything (html, css, themes, extensions), but we cannot change something on the site in the iframe.

Best regards, Tim

If you cannot use the external workaround you are quite limited.

What you might can do is to use the browser detection and define a different width height and even a zoom for mobile devices.
But on the detail page than your iframe is too long.

You cannot make it responsive as the original page is not responsive and you are not able to change anything there.

Best, Michael
