I bought the advanced version of the plugin to see if I could force all links in an iframe loaded from an external domain, which I don't control, to open in a new window.

I've read the how-to article but it is not clear to me where or how I should load ai_external.js. Could you advise if I should be loading these on the page in which the iframe is included or by means of additional_js in the iframe tag.

FYI the example iframe for external domains is not working, just a blank screen.

Hi, if you cannot insert ai_external.js to the other domain you cannot change any links.

See: http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-features-availability-overview

Which example is not working - please send me a link. I always use my over 50 demos to test new features and check them with manual and automated tests.

Please tell me which part is not clear in the documentation. So I can improve it. As I'm too close so I need feedback here.

Best regards,

Michael

Can you walk through the steps required to implement the external workaround?

The demo that isn't working is the one for external link targets

On the External workaround tab is a detailed instruction how to do this.

Not sure which demo you mean:

http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/change-links-targets#e11

does change the link targets on links 1 and 2.

Best regards,

Michael
