Hi :)

Short question:
I want to remove the topnavigationbar, how do I do that without destroying the entire navigation?

Please help

you only mean the middle part with the buttons? or the whole top?

this part is completly in the inc/topnavigation.inc.php - depending where you are (overview, thumbs or image) there is a different navigation.

The entire thing :) if I remove it in the index.php file, the big navigation doesn't work anymore... What do I have to change in the topnavigation.inc.php to lose the topnavigation completely (in imageview)?

True -

the javascript that is generated an called in the topnavigation is used by the big navigation as well. Therefore removing is not that easy - if you use the html navigation it should work - but with the dhtml ...

you can replace the images real easy - but otherwise you have to do lots of small changes ...

The problem is the dhtml navigation - if you remove the top navigation you remove the link for e.g. comments as well - in the dhtml mode this links are changes auftomatically - you will get js errors and therefore it does not work anymore.

I you use html navigation it is no problem - otherwise you have to edit the cmotiongallery.inc.php as well - this is the part whre lots of JS is generated on the fly ! around line 500 you would have to modify all js that does not exist anymore!
