I want to link back to my home page but can't work out where to put the root.txt. What else do I need to do?

I read that Michael but still didn't understand exactly where to put the root.txt. I want the link on every page. I know it needs to go in the main folder but how do I put it in it? Do I just write root.txt?

like the howto says:

The root.txt has to contain a link like http:// ....

and in your case it has to be in the main folder of TWG.
