Hello,
I did the update of TinyWebGallery 1.7.8.1 - Patch - 27.10.2009 on 1.7.8 - 21.08.2009.

Everything seems okay, but all Captions no longer visible!

After research (* FAQ: How to 35 + English only!) In .. /xml, I had a mixture of information in the files:
"010___Images_caption.xml" (old) + "010___Images_image_text.xml" (new)
(Ditto for ..._counter.xml ...)

After manual re-entry of all information; "010___Images_image_text.xml" seems to be the current file.

*) The FAQ talks about:
- Captions # <twg_album>_image_text.xml
- Counter # <twg_album>_image_counter.xml

Delete ? -- Old version ?:
<twg_album>_caption.xml
<twg_album>_counter.xml

1. What is the valid version ? /Where do the other versions ?
2. The creation of the files is it the same since TWG Admin, TFU, ftp ?

Seems you had this version which was online only for a few hours.
This was actually not in the patch of 1.7.8.1.

the _caption.xml are used if you have the xml files inside the pictures/* folders. And in 1.7.8 I added the folder.id - which makes it possible to rename folders without loosing the captions.
But in your version I used the wrong file names (the one for the xmls inside the pictures folder and not the ones for the xml folder).
I fixed this a couple of hours later but it seems you just got this version.

I only want to use one file name but I have to implement an automatic migration first.

I downloaded version "1.7.8.1 Patch" on 14/11/09 05:44 (CH/D) - File's inside: 11/11/09 23:32.

- I have a "folder.id" in pictures/* folders.
- All *.xml files are in folder ../xml (Include: _caption.xml !)

> So I only keep files: <twg_album>_image_text.xml, <twg_album>_image_counter.xml, right ?

PS: in folder ../language_extra you can write the file "language_fr.txt" with: "French (Fran&ccedil;ais)" < Inverted text compared to other languages.

If you have a folder id and have not set this to true then you have exactly the version I wrote about.

If you have a new install using folder.id is fine but not for updates. I had this to true for only a few hours .

I want to set this it true in the next build but then I will have an automatic migration as well.

So keep the files you wrote.
