Hi,

i have two different installations of TWG, the first is v1.8.1 and works like a charm!
The 2nd one is v1.8.3 and displays nothing, no thumbnail, preview or full size pics.

Under section "File and directory permissions", no sample pic is shown but an error text: "Error loading photo".

The my_config.php is attached! Any help is very much appreciated, i think it's nothing serious but i just can't figure it out... :?:

are you sure that the cache, counter and xml folder are writeable...

If you have 2 installs on the same server the session data can interfere.
Click on the bandwidth icon on the new install to reset this data.

access permissions are:
cache 744, counter 755, xml 755, all are reported as "writeable" on the info page.

i re-enabled the bandwidth icon, rebuilt the cache and deleted the session cache, same issue though :(

yes the installations are hosted on one root, but are in different subfolders and also have different domains attached.

I would reupload all files from TWG (not the pictures).
Delete the cache,xml, counter dir an recreate it.

Ok, solved! :D

As you recommended, i deleted cache, counter and xml folders.
Then unpacked a new twg183.zip and upped everything (but pictures folder, my_config.php and my_style.css) again.
I set cache, counter xml to 755 and hardened access with .htaccess-file.

The gallery broke again as i tried to set cache to 744, back on 755 everything's alright!
A little weird because on the other installation, cache has 744 and works fine...
