Thank you.

In my test, it seems counter not working. It increase only 1 in the 1st gallery access, then stays there forever. How do I fix it ?

how did you test?

The counter has of course a reload protection - it's not a counter that counts every click!

how have you increaded it - because maybe the counter.txt does not have the permissions now to be written by php anymore - set the permissions of counter.txt to 777.

I changed counter.txt & other file permission in counter folder to 777 , but the counter doesn't change. I reload my gallery from diffrent PCs, and the result is the same.

Thank you for your support.

Since it doesn't work, I cleared the whole counter directory, then reload gallery again. I saw twg re-created all files, but counter doesn't increase.

Counter in twg1.4 works fine.

your counter is at 2 right now - therefore bigger than 1 ;). Using more pc indide one network does not count because outside your network they all have the same IP.

Thank you! the counter is working now - maybe because of file permission problem.

Another question: I setup twg1.5.5 with my real albums, but when TWG loads the gallery : TWG sometimes displays 4 tiny pictures in 1 album thumbnail, sometimes TWG displays only 1 big picture in 1 album thumbnail. In the first case, when I click the album thumbnail to enter, twg displays as many thumbnails per row as it can, in second case it displays only 5 thumbnail per row : very inconsistant.

This is not inconsitant at all.

TWG does a bandwidth detection (the icon in the right lower corner).
If your connection is too slow TWG switches to a mode were less images are displayed at once to make the gallery faster to load! (Not funny for somene with a slow connection to get e.g. 64 images displayed on the overview and wait 1 minute for this - there I only display 16 which load 4 times faster!)

But you can simply configure that behavior - there is a whole section with $low_ .... parameters in the config.php

delete counter/counter.txt - wait until it'S recreated and enter the number you had in there.

I tried

$show_powered_by_twg_as_text=true;

and it worked.

FYI: I had a previous versions as well, upgraded to the latest and had the same issue... until I changed the line mentioned above.

interesting - these 2 things have nothing to do with each other.
The counter is 100% independent of this.
