Well, just FYI, the error occured again, and I copied the .xml section at the end where it occured.

which version are you using exactly? because this error should now be detected (if the xml parser does not crash right away - if php crashes completly every 10 calls of the xml)

I'm on 1.6.2, and I plan to upgrade to the 1.7 once the end-user-login, and end-user-upload feature is enabled.

Bah, I forgot what it was you called it, the addition where browsers of the site have the ability to upload their own pictures onto it, and self registration, where browsers of the site have the ability to register themself without admin intervention.

I could be wrong, but I thought that was was being included in the next release?

I wanted to do this - you are right - problem is that I would need translations for this - this takes always very long to get all of them.

Maybe I only make the german/english version and wait .

But I have so time anyway because Joomla 1.5 is not final yet (Joomla Flash Uploader 2.6 will be for Joomla 1.1.x and 1.5)

Since I've been rectifying the xml problem manually, I'd noticed something.

The .xml file has been getting larger, even though the number of files uploaded inside of the directory has been staying the same, does that mean the problem could lie elsewhere?

I know that you say you'd already found the error, and have corrected it, I just reports em as I see's em.

no - only images that have entries are in the xml - therefore i'll grow until each image has an entry there.

btw. self registration is almost done (english only right now ...)

Ohh, rockin'. I'm only really looking for English as it is for the whole site. But I'll keep an eye out on the forum for it, and I'll let you know when i do the update so you can check it out.
