Hi, I've asked my host to install these so that they work in TinyWebGallery. My host has asked:

I don't know a lot about PHP so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

TWG does actually support both ways.

default is shell_exec()

You can switch between shell_exec and exec with $use_shell_exec in the config.
