I cannot seem to be able to create captions on my website. Process I used is as follows. Click the caption icon, the caption window shows, I enter the text, I commit the entry, the caption window turns white (with a black cross in the corner). This I have to close, but the test below the picture does not change from the original file name, to the caption name!

This is the error message I get when I try and create a caption in my gallery (this is from the Debug file):

03.18.2010 22:53:29 (en) - XML error read caption: Empty document at line 1 (__/xml/Club Members_MINI MIESTER_image_text.xml was renamed to __/xml/Club Members_MINI MIESTER_image_text.xml_20100318225329.bak - please check this file if you want to restore your data) - DATA:0_BILD__NAME_Orton+Mk1+Austin+7+0127.jpg_/NAME__WERT_Austin+7_/WERT__/BILD_
_/BESCHREIBUNG_

Can you shed any light on it, as I would really like to use captions on my website :D

Please download the latest version again. In the last build there was a small bug with captions.

Michael,
I have set the gallery up just the way I like. Is there a was of just replacing the faulty files so i don't have start from scratch? its just that I have created user logins /html headers etc and i would like to leave all of this intact.

Cheers

Andy

Use the patch or replace the files from the inc and i_frames folder.
