Post subject:  url.txt: not showing pictures

Hello,

I have the following situation. I'm running TWG at home and have a lot of pictures in it. Too much (expensive) to put this pictures by a provider. But my bandwidth is limited so it is a little slow.
Now I want to run TWG at home with all the pictures and a caching only TWG (no pictures at all only the directory structure and the cache files) at a provider.
I thought to use the url.txt file to link the galleries to my home server.

The thing is the screen keeps being empty. When I remove the link file and put a picture I see it. So the installation is working. When I put the link file and the picture I don't see the picture the screen is empty so I thing the url.txt file is being used.
If I open in my browser de url used in the url.txt (I didn't forget the / at the end) I see the pictures. I don't get any errors. If I look at the PHP installation fopen is supported/enabled.

Any suggestions how to find the problem?

Greetings

can you pm me the url? then I can test and tell you.

you know that url.txt only shows one folder. means you have to have e.g. 3 dirs you need 3 url.txt

you are linking to another twg instance?

url.txt is used differently! you can link to a folder with it - directly.
Like this : http://mdempfle.md.funpic.de/pictures/2006_06_boas/

This my external testing dir ;). TWG parses the directory listing of the server. If you do it like this you get the cache images on the server of your hoster.

If you want to connect 2 twg instances (like a part at your provider - a part at home) you can use folderlink.txt (this is how you use it somehow).

In your case you should use
#removed_broken_link
in the url.txt. But this directory cannot be listed - This is needed (or you put a index.htm there that provides that listing).

Ok I changed my home website with the pictures to not be TWG.

Now I experience the problem that the pictures are found but not displaying. The debug error is:

ERROR 2 in webs\versneld\inc\imagefunctions.inc.php, line 164: getimagesize(http://fotos.vanwijlen.info:84/Belgie/G ... C00884.JPG) [<a href='function.getimagesize'>function.getimagesize</a>]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Any suggestions?

seem I have killed this feature during refactoring up the code.

I'll fix this in the next dev build.

it's 2 things - your server has the ful path in the href. i'll extend the detection that it works for your server too.
I already did some test here and your folder is already displayed.

wait for dev 6 ;).

online.

I have almost changed every file because I have refactored something - therefore you would have to do a full update.

Post subject:  videostreaming

Hello,

Good work. Works great now.

I found something else videostreaming files in the remote gallery don't work just shows the picture en not videostreaming. (works when using in local TWG)

Is this by design or something else?

This is not implemented.

but you can link to the videos with http too. The streaming with wmp supports this. (and mp3's can be remote as well).
