i thought this was opensource.. opensource does not have any limitations..

The TWG Flash Uploader is not open source. I have released this under a different license. It was released as a separate product and is bundled with TWG - like JFU where I have written a wrapper to TFU and the wrapper is released under GPL.

And TWG is a free gallery as long as the 'powered by' stays intact. I never claim that is is open source although all the sources of TWG itself are available. Read the license.txt from TWG for more details.

k so in order to remove the limitation, i'll have to register?

other than that is there no other way to remove the limitation?

what if I use FTP, will it be the same?

No. FTP is fine. TWG does detect if you upload by FTP and update all the internal caches as well.

TWG can actually be configured completely without the backend because all configs are stored in human readable files like my_config.php.

Hi, there... just started using the Gallery, very nice btw... have altered it allot and it works great... managed to change the 'Photo Gallery powered by TinyWebGallery 1.7.7' to a button that displayed ...buttons/twg.gif instead of the before mentioned text? Then started from scratch again and now I can not seem to find the apropriate place to set this value? Any help would be great.
