Hello, I have tried the access restriction with several groups of users. So I have different private.txt in my 200 folders. In each private.txt are crypted passwords seperated by ",". It works very well, but I think it is difficult to chnange something because looking in the private.txt I cants see for which group the password is. My Idea: For each password (Group) a own file calle xxx.PRV The xxx is for the Groupname, e.g. "Family", "Friends". In each xxx.PEV exactly one password. So when I am looking in a folder I can see which groups may have access. And searching for xxx.PRV I fiend the all folders a Group has access to. Regards, Axel |

not a bad idea. But maybe I make it the other way. You define the groups in the private.txt and define the password for a group at one single file - this makes is better to administrate! - and maybe this can be done in the backend quite nice. Sound like a good enhancement for 1.7  .
