Post subject:  Directory listing option for certain galleries

I have a lot of videos that I have for download, well over 100.

I've tried all sorts of gallery software, and really have never found one that handles videos the way I like. I currently use snif to do directory listing for the videos because that's the easiest way for me to organize them plus my users to find what they need.

How about an addin to do directory listing for specific directories in the picture folder instead of showing thumbnails?

The problem I have with twg handling videos is when you roll over a thumb, it shows the thumb's address so some users think they are going to download a pic instead of a video.

Thanks for the software, truly innovative.

Hi,

What can be done quite easily is that clicking in the thumbs is already the lastest step! mean that no detail page exists if you specify a folder somehow.

Is this something you are looking for?

I guess I'm not understanding your idea.

Is there a way to make a folder thumbnail point to something else? Is it easy enough for you to show me a demo of it?

Hi,

now I think I don't understand - folder thumbnail?

what does already exist (but is not documented) - the link where a folder points to can be modified - e.g. if you have 5 gallery folder 4 with images and one with videos you could cnfigure TWG that the video folder get a different link. (actually this is intended to link two galleries and make then look like one almost.).

I think what you are loking for is - The thumbnail page looks like they is right now - but the links if the thums do not point to a detail page where you could then click on the "big" image that points to the video but the image from the thumb does automatically link to the video. It'l like skiping the last level.
You look for that?

What TWG can already do is something else - skiping the thumbs page - But I hink you look for the function I described above.
