Just a quick request to be able to hide the 'No Cache!' warning at the bottom of the page when $cache_dirs has been set to FALSE.

I have already created a patch available at http://www.wulfz.com/photos/patches/sho ... link.patch

:).

you can of course hide the text - but why?

after you have done the setup you should set this flag to true for best performance.
it does not make sense to leave it off after twg is setup the first time :).

Before 1.4 i had this flag to on by default but too many people had promlems understanding the caching.
But if you run twg it shopuld be tuned on for best performance and minimal server load!

I have caching disabled for 2 reasons:

1) My server load is not high enough to worry about it (<50 hits per day!)
2) I was having problems with new directories not showing up.

It's up to you whether to include the patch or not, but it works for me :)

Btw, thank you for taking the time to respond.

Hi,

thats true - new directories do only show up after your session has ended - but that is only for you - all other people see the changes right away because they get a new session anyway ;).

btw. you can end your session in the TWG admin!
