maybe it is possible to expand the search ?

If I have a comment "text some" and I do a search for "some text", twg finds no hits.
even better would it be when I search, that all comments/captions belonging to the same file should be checked for (partial) matches...

file a
comment 1: 2003
comment 2: holiday usa

file b
comment 1: 2004
comment 2: holiday usa

a search for "usa 2003" should hit file a, but not file b.

extending a search you are lookingfor is not that easy - I have written this kind of thing already for a real portal - it's really quite komplex - expecially if you want your hits across several entries.

I don't have a database can can simply change a sql statement - I would have to code this on xml base - not fun :).

You can extend the search by yourself and I add this to the next build if you like ;).

I said it before, I am not a programmer, I am a user... But my idea would be:

take all the XML comment files, throw them into one (large) file (admin function ! do it yourself every now and then), and search in there ? That is how "search enigine maker professional" (which I used to have) does the trick in simple php with no sql / database or whatever !

Hi,

merging the files would not help - I have one file for every album already - therefore his would not make any difference. the search you are looking for would be searching for 2 terms in a single comment.

It's actually not that hard to do - searching for the two search terms and looking for the results where you had an hit in both ;).

then its still a difference if it is on one comment or in two comments ....
The problem is actually to define how to search ;).

If I find an easy way to extend the search i'll add this to the next release.
