How about a configurable, system-wide list of filenames/directory names that will NEVER be displayed?

e.g. If there is a file in each directory called index.jpg, or a subfolder called "thumbs" (or something), then they are simply not displayed.

Hi,

not a bad idea. But I have to change a lot of stuff to realize this ....
you can use any other file extension for your image ....

I'll check this ...
