I am having issues with the responsive iframe I was wondering if you might help me,
my license for the pro plugin is 4f68798d-6c6e-480c-8347-2c817f20353b

I managed to have a responsive iframe that fits on mobile here

I am using same code on all 3

[advanced_iframe src="https://games.pariplaydev.com/launch/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey.html?gameCode=PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey95_Desktop&token=DEMO_e8ea3cd1-927f-4026-9e7f-e53007d80781&homeUrl=http://rgs-operator.pariplaydev.com/&rgsUrl=https://rgs.pariplaydev.com&lang=EN&currencyCode=GBP&financialMode=0&platform=1&id=9&ExtraData=realityCheckTimeout%3d100%26historyUrl%3dhttp%3a%2f%2foperator.statement%26platform%3d1" width="100%" height="75vh" scrolling="none"]

Hi Micheal

The problem is that in iPhone it doesn't recognize its responsive and the iframe is to wide so you only see about 20% of the screen and you can not do anything ...
I have access to the original page because its not on the same domain ..
I have tried the script thing but no luck..

attached screen shots
thanks a lot

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

seems ios does not realize the real width.
Can you try to enable scrolling and the ios scrolling workaround?
This is for testing if an additional div would help here.

a 2nd option is maybe to use zoom for ios with the external workaround.

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

Tried all that, it doesn't seem to work,

The thing is that its not that it doesn't recognize the real width rather it doesn't recognize that it has a responsive version and ajust to it, like you can see here that it does recognize the responsive version of the game
https://skillzzgaming.com/play-fruit-blast/

any how I enabled scrolling on the setting and in the shortcode but im not sure what you mean by ios scrolling workaround, where and how do I do that?

also I am not sure I have added the script line to the game itself correctly, can you please indicate what line I should add on both the iframe domain .. and does I add it to the index.html of the external website?

Zoom doesn't work either, attached is an image.

Thanks a lot!

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

In the basic tab you can enable the ios scrolling workaround. So please enable scrolling and enable ios srcolling workaround.

How you have to add the ai_external.js is described in the "external workaround tab.". You have to add this on the external index.html.
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/auto-zoom-iframe-content#e31

shows a working demo. But I checked the page.
You can try http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/auto-zoom-iframe-content#e35 because your page is fully responsive with a fixed ratio! I think this cannot be measured properly automatically!

Thanks Michael,

I am not sure I understand what you mean ...
which of the links should I try, maybe both?
by saying it can not be measured properly automatically you mean its not possible for it to work?

thanks and apologize if I dont understand you well and for all the questions ..

o.k. so it seems this does not work.

Can you try the following:
add style="min-width:100%" to the shortcode.

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

I have added it but it seems to not be working
I have added

[advanced_iframe src="https://games.pariplaydev.com/launch/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey.html?gameCode=PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey95_Desktop&token=DEMO_e8ea3cd1-927f-4026-9e7f-e53007d80781&homeUrl=http://rgs-operator.pariplaydev.com/&rgsUrl=https://rgs.pariplaydev.com&lang=EN&currencyCode=GBP&financialMode=0&platform=1&id=9&ExtraData=realityCheckTimeout%3d100%26historyUrl%3dhttp%3a%2f%2foperator.statement%26platform%3d1" height="75vh" scrolling="none" enable_external_height_workaround="true" enable_responsive_iframe="true" min-width:"100%"]

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

you have to add it like I have written in the post:
style="min-width:100%"

[advanced_iframe src="https://games.pariplaydev.com/launch/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey/PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey.html?gameCode=PP_HTML5_GemsOdyssey95_Desktop&token=DEMO_e8ea3cd1-927f-4026-9e7f-e53007d80781&homeUrl=http://rgs-operator.pariplaydev.com/&rgsUrl=https://rgs.pariplaydev.com&lang=EN&currencyCode=GBP&financialMode=0&platform=1&id=9&ExtraData=realityCheckTimeout%3d100%26historyUrl%3dhttp%3a%2f%2foperator.statement%26platform%3d1" height="75vh" scrolling="none"enable_external_height_workaround="true" enable_responsive_iframe="true" style="min-width:100%"]

Also please make sure that you really need ai_external.js! It should be included after jquery! not before. Otherwise jquery will be loaded twice!

Please try again.
Best, Michael

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

thank you so much for you effort but it does not seem to be working ...
it also said
You use a https iframe in a http page with the external workaround. To enable the external workaround you NEED to enable "Use postMessage for communication" on the "external workaround" tab.
so I enabled use postmessage for communication (changed it to yes)

Thanks

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

what is the parent url you get this message? Because use have https everywhere you posted urls so far.

For me you currently use the external workaround without really knowing what you do.
What have you configured for the external workaround? Are you following any of my demos?

Best, Michael

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

I followed the demos and went trough your blog over and over .... and I agree It seems there is something I am not getting right .. maybe ..

what I did was to paste
<script src="https://skillzzgaming.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-iframe/js/ai_external.js"></script>
in the index file of the external url for the iframe
and added the shortcake as mentioned in our last conversations, than I have also enabled all the things you have asked me to enable

thanks

Post subject:  Re: iframe on mobile

But what else have you configured? I cannot see this.
You should start WITHOUT ai_external.js. Because it is does overwrite things again on the server.
You should not put many things together. try it without ai_external.js first.

Because then the next step is which feature to use! Only adding ai_external.js could do already a lot of stuff.

Best, Michael
