Hi,

the page i am loading with advanced iframe pro has got an iframe inside it. So we are in a 2 level iframe inside iframe scenario.

Now, the iframe inside the iframe page if basically empty, no content there.

instead of showing:
<iframe xxxxx>
<head> STUFF </head>
<body> STUFF </body>
</iframe>

it is shown as:
<iframe xxxxx>
<head></head>
<body></body>
</iframe>

so basically empty. The pages are on different domains. What shall I do?

Thanks,
Ste

can the page be included to an iframe?

Have you tried with the free iframe checker?

Best, Michael

Hi

yes, the page can be displayed in an iframe and everything works perfectly also the resize. The issue is that tiny iframe inside the iframe, which is just basically a text box, is shown empty. All the rest of the included external page works just fine. It is just where the iframe is inside the iframe page that nothing works.

If I load the external page directly without passing from advanced iframe, that internal iframe is displayed as:
<iframe frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" tabindex="2" style="width: 508px; height: 323px;">
<html>
<head><style>.ie * {min-height: auto !important} .ie table td {height:15px}</style><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8"><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.teslaforum.it/jscripts/sceditor/textarea_styles/jquery.sceditor.mybb.css"></head>
<body contenteditable="true" dir="ltr"><p><br></p></body>
<html>
</iframe>

instead if I use advanced iframe, all the page is reported correctly but that internal iframe becomes:

<iframe frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" tabindex="2" style="width: 508px; height: 323px;">
<html>
<head></head>
<body></body>
<html>
</iframe>

How can I make that little iframe inside the external page properly appear, without all the content being wiped?

Thanks

Are any errors in the browser console? Press f12 to open that.

But this is the page in the iframe - what is the parent page?

You need to post a new topic in the forum to be able to see the iframe. The iframe just appears when writing a new post, the whole purpose of that small iframe is to host the emtpy <body> with contenteditable, that is used to write posts and does not work through advanced iframe

No more feedback after my last message? The issue is still unsolved.

I get

at o.ub.execCommand (jquery.sceditor.bbcode.min.js?ver=1805:2)

as error in Firefox. so it seems the editor has a problem to be inside an iframe.

I also tested the forum in a simple default iframe -> Same problem!

So please make a post in the MyBB forum. Ir check if a different editor can be used.

Best, Michael
