I just downloaded the Pro version so I can properly work with external links but the issue I'm having is with the auto width and height. Below are the links to the source page and the embedded page. I've used the 'hide div' option to hide the header and footer but the width and height will not adjust. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong or what settings I need to adjust in the plugin?

Embedded (using pro plugin):
http://www.nbs-us.com/biomed2/

Thanks for the help!

have you enabled the external workaround for subdomains?

Because
http://stage.nbs-us.com/biomeds/
http://www.nbs-us.com/biomed2/

are different domains!

Best, Michael

Yes, I implemented the External Workaround but I did not use the "Special case sub domain" option because the instructions state to only use this option "f your iframe is on a sub domain. My iframe plugin is being used by the main domain with the 'src' attribute referencing a page on the subdomain. (e.g. parent: www.example.com; iframe plugin installed to: www.example.com; main domain: example.com) Since the iframe is not installed to the subdomain I used the "If you are NOT on a sub domain" option but the height and more importantly the width of the page referenced by the 'src' attribute is not auto adjusting. Any suggestions on what I need to change?

hi, subdomain would also work on your setup - i'll try to improve the documentation.

But this is not the problem. Auto height seems to work as the height is sent to the parent. But is seems you have also configured "show only a part of the frame" - and this together with auto height give not expected results...

Please remove this feature and hide the header with the hide elements functionality. As you use the external workaround this is the better solution anyway.

Best, Michael

Thanks Michael. I'm trying out the changes on a test page and getting closer. I'm getting the height and width but I have a lot of whitespace on the lefthand side of the page. Any suggestions on how I can move everything to the left?

Code:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxx" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="http://stage.nbs-us.com/biomeds/" id="xxx" height="1684px" width="1436px" enable_external_height_workaround="true"]

White space?

I more think using a fixed width is a problem. have you tried enabling responsive iframe with a width of 100%?

Best, Michael
