Post subject: | both scrolling and not responsive |
Hi - I've upgraded to Pro and have gone through the forums and instructions but can't solve my problems. Here's the background: The parent page is http://hey.com/about. Inside the page is a subdomain of a separate Wordpress instance with a different template, which is at http://hey.com/corp. Here's the problems: 1) The page within the iframe appears, but only with a scroll bar on the right. I want this eliminated and have the iframe appear full page. 2) On mobile, it does not perform as responsive - instead it shows just the left side of a desktop version page. Could you please assist? Thanks! |

So what have you done so far? is hey.com the real domain? 1. you want a fullscreen iframe? Have you used to option for this? 2. have you configured something that it is responsive? is the other site responsive? Best, Michael |

There's many settings so it's difficult to say which things specifically I've done so far, but you can see the examples live: The parent page is http://hey.com/about. Inside the page is a subdomain of a separate Wordpress instance with a different template, which is at http://hey.com/corp. Yes, hey.com is the real domain. Maybe instead of telling you what I've done so far, you could tell me each of the steps I need to take to make it not scroll and be responsive. I don't understand what I need to to and I can't find the answer within the plugin or the forums. 1) For the scrolling issue, I've put this code on the /about page: [advanced_iframe securitykey="my key" src="http://hey.com/corp" allowfullscreen="true"] - Do I need to add something to the height property in the plugin? I don't understand what number should be there to make the page show without scroll. 100% doesn't work - it only shows 150px instead. 2) For the responsive problem: If you look at http://hey.com/corp on your phone you'll see that it's responsive. But when I embed it into the iframe - look at http://hey.com/about on your phone - it is not responsive. Can you answer these questions here or do I need paid support? I only ask because I'm on a deadline. Thanks! |

Hi, Have you not checked the examples? I think what you are looking for is http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/responsive-iframes 1. with this shortcode I cannot tell anything as I don't know what you have set in the administration. There is a generate shortcode button. If you press this you get a shortcode with all settings! And yes - of course you need to set something to get auto height. 100% height is NOT that the content is 100% but that the height is 100% of the surrounding element you have which is 150px in your case. This is normal html behavior. So you need to set onload_resize="true" enable_responsive_iframe="true" 2. set the settings above... |
