Hello there!

My setup:
I am using the Advanced iFrame Pro Plugin on my website and am loading in an external page which is set up for that purpose: being loaded as external iframe content. The source page is hosted under tld.com
My iFrame is placed in a website under sub.tld.com
I do not have access to the tld.com page.

the page contains a form that is being jquery powered.

Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari are loading the iFrame just fine. The form works perfectly - no jquery errors in console whatsoever.

However when I use IE (f.e. 11 or also 10 or edge) the ie dev tools show multiple exceptions due to some kind of ACCESS problem. It is blocking the loading of the jquery library from the iFrame source.

How can I solve this? Is there a fix?
I found this stackoverflow thread. Is the "marked as correct"-answer the solution to this problem here as well? How can I do this step by step with advanced iframe pro plugin?

I don't know your setup of advanced iframe pro. So please provide it.
Because wrong configurations can also cause this Javascript errors.

What is it that you need to know?

Not using any external workaround.

I am just using this shortcode:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxxxxxxxxx" src="http://tld.com/framablepage.page" id="desktopbooking" scrolling="no" width="335" height="487"]

In Advanced Settings Tab in section Lazy Load I radioed YES , set threshold to 3000, fadein time to 1, manual trigger when a certain button is clicked. the buttons CSS Class is: .toggle-hidden-sidebar

All of these settings work just fine in all browsers. There is just the script issue in IE.

Is there anything else you need to know?

what are the exact errors you get? - because this feature normally don't access the remote page at all.

Which shortcode is generated if you click on the "generate Shortcode" button?
Because it does show all settings which are not default.

When I click the generate shortcode button, I am getting this shortcode:

[advanced_iframe securitykey="xxxxxxxx" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="http://mydomain.com" width="100%" height="800" scrolling="auto" id="advanced_iframe" enable_lazy_load="true" enable_lazy_load_fadetime="1" enable_lazy_load_manual="true" resize_on_ajax_jquery="false" ]

Errors in IE Console:

the initiating error when the iframe is loading:
SCRIPT5: ACCESS DENIED
file: jquery-2.0.min.js, row: 4, column: 10913

And following this intial error all jquery dependant scripts within this iframe are throwing jquery or $ undefined errors.
It is basically only the jquery library that IE can't load. As I said in my first post :)

So the problem is jQuery. Which version of jQuery is loaded there?

it is in the post above:

jquery-2.0.min.js

Do you have an url?

jquery 2 should be supported from ie9 on.
So currently I'm not sure if this is a problem related to the iframe at all or jQuery only.
