I have two iframes on this website: http://www.platinumimpact.org/meacargo/services/ in the left column, top two widgets Both require text input and then a submission and then both open to new pages in new windows, using _top. So far, so good. But the pages also open in the original iframes ---see image. I tried using show_part_of_iframe_next_viewports_hide="true" but when I did, the pages didn't open in the new windows. Here the code for one of them: [advanced_iframe securitykey="1f982ace06f638415d9c27ab044f01721b85eb62" src="http://www.meacargo.com/login.php" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" id="login" height="280" width="200" show_part_of_iframe="true" show_part_of_iframe_x="0" show_part_of_iframe_y="0" show_part_of_iframe_width="200" show_part_of_iframe_height="240" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_vertical="false" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_horizontal="false" show_part_of_iframe_new_url="http://www.meacargo.com/client/index.php" show_part_of_iframe_new_window="_top" ] Please please help me!! So you need to change the target of a link or the form? Because this is only possible if you have access to the other page with the external workaround. Best, Michael |

You mean I need access to the targeted page? I will have access to it once I move from development to production. What do I need to do to the targeted page? TY!! |

But you wrote you already have set target="_top". therefore I don't understand why you stick in the iframe. changing link targets is an option in the plugin on the advanced tab. There is a section for the parent and for the iframe. and fir the iframe you need access. also if you have access later on. Do you still want to use show_part_of_iframe="true" than? Best, Michael |

Yes, I need to show only a small section of the iframe because the text field and the submit buttons and the code behind them come from a differnt page -- i didn't program them. |

With the external workaround you can modify the css. Therefore you can hide whatever you want. Best Michael |

I really do not understand this conversation. Let me give you an update and then maybe you can clarify. Here's my WP site now -- I've moved it to the same domain as the iframe: http://www.meacargo.com/wp/ The two frames in question are the two widgets at the top of the left column. I would like to give you the login information privately so you can try it and see what I'm talking about. When I submit the form, it correctly opens in a new window. But it ALSO opens in the frame, which looks stupid. I tried to hide the frame on submit, but it didn't work. Sorry, to be so dense, I'm sure there's an easy solution, I just don't understand what it is. |

So if you are on the same domain you can simply use e.g. http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/demo-advanced-iframe-2-0 wher you can hide in the iframe whatever you want. What I don't understand: it opens in a new window and also inside the iframe? Best, Michael |

Yes, it opens in the frame AND in the new window. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. Here's my code: [advanced_iframe securitykey="1f982ace06f638415d9c27ab044f01721b85eb62" src="http://www.meacargo.com/login.php" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" id="login" height="280" width="200" show_part_of_iframe="true" show_part_of_iframe_x="0" show_part_of_iframe_y="0" show_part_of_iframe_width="200" show_part_of_iframe_height="240" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_vertical="false" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_horizontal="false" show_part_of_iframe_new_url="http://www.meacargo.com/client/index.php" change_iframe_links_target="_blank" ] If you want to see it live, please tell me ho to end the login info privately. Thanks! |

Why do you configure show_part_of_iframe_new_url="http://www.meacargo.com/client/index.php" this is the page where you get anyway? don't specify this than. change_iframe_links_target="_blank" alone is also not valid. What do you want to achive? Best, Michael |
