I try ti hide the footer from this site:

http://e-s-c.fotograf.de/album/600878

I guess the footer div is namend: ws-shop-footer

so when put these in my Advanced features > Modify the parent page > Hide elements

#ws-shop-footer

nothing happens - the footer is still there

right. Because # is for an id . is for a class.

So .ws-shop-footer should work.

Where is the iframe at http://e-s-c.fotograf.de/album/600878 ?

Because you use the feature where you remove the footer from the parent! the parent is the page where the iframe is included.

o.k. - than you use the wrong parameter and as you are on different domains the wrong way.

Have you seen the tab "External workaround"? You need to include one line of Javascript to the other site to modify this.
Is this possible for you? Because I assume you want auto height as well.

Take a look at the demo:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/external-workaround-auto-height-and-css-modifications

Please always stay focused with the settings. Most of them you will not need as they are for different scenarios. The demos are always a good idea to look but also be ware that there are most likely also more than one feature is used.

So in your case:
- Include the file in the remote page.
- Enable auto height (this is the simplest case)
- if this works go on with hiding stuff...

Best,
Michael
