Post subject:  Restricting iFrame to parent domain

Hello there,

A quick pre-sale question. Is it possible to restrict display of the iFrame contents to requests coming from the parent domain only?

An example would be that I have lots of files hosted in a folder in my shared webhosting account. I would like to display this content in an iFrame on my WordPress installation. What I really want to achieve is the ability to restrict (for most normal internet users) the ability to access the content outside of my WordPress install. I realise you could view the sourse and access the cotent that way but I want to try and deter people from viewing the content outside of WordPress.

Many thanks,

David

No - you can restrict that a page is allowed to be viewed in an iframe. The protection you need, needs to be different.
E.g. you don't allow direct access by a .htaccess. And than you need e.g. a php class with delivers the files and there the protection is implemented.

Best, Michael
