I have seen your post at the URL: http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/hide-a-part-of-the-iframe#e21, however, because I have used the area selector I already have shortcode generated for my page that works exactly the way I want it with the exception of being read only. I have tried different variations of the code as I do not want to lose the set-up without success. My shortcode is below-what could I add that will make the iframe read only (domain changed to example.com) [advanced_iframe securitykey="78f2b2e9sa6cf2192d2379a4783eb60e2a7e3eef" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="//example.com/sell3/index.php/" width="1920" height="3000" scrolling="no" id="advanced_iframe" name="Example" allowfullscreen="true" map_parameter_to_url="show|1|http://www.example.com" show_part_of_iframe="true" show_part_of_iframe_x="344" show_part_of_iframe_y="936" show_part_of_iframe_width="1226" show_part_of_iframe_height="1016" show_part_of_iframe_new_window=""_blank"" ] |

Try adding hide_part_of_iframe="0,0,100%,100%,transparent,10" If this does not work please let me know. Maybe I need an additional wrapper div if you use both features together. |

I just checked at my demos and this works fine setting this demos: http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/advanced-iframe/advanced-iframe-pro-demo/show-only-a-part-of-the-iframe to readonly. Do you have a real url with my suggested change? I have had setups where the 100% was not enough because of the existing css of the page. Best, Michael |

Michael In the end I got it sorted-this is the shortcode end result. Had to increase the 100% to 200% to cover complete iFrame [advanced_iframe securitykey="mycode" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="http://www.example.com/sell3/" id="advanced_iframe_21" height="2000" width="1280" scrolling="no" hide_part_of_iframe="0,0,200%,200%,transparent,10"] Cheers Douglas |
