I've recently started having problems using WordPress 3.1 media uploader so I installed WFU. Just tried to upload a 147kb image but it said "uploading" for a long time them "Upload failed. 1 file(s) of 1 could not be uploaded."  Help! I really need to upload some images to my posts but I don't know what's wrong. This used to be so easy. Thanks in advance for your help.

wrong server permissions, upload limits, timeouts, missing upload directories, wrong configured session safe path, request filters, wrong htaccess files, access restrictions, mod security running - And most of this settings cause any uploader to fail  . Read the FAQ and enable upload debugging. Then you see if the upload does reach the php files at all or if there are problems already during the upload process.- Michael |
