Howdy,

Just wondering as I use FTP infrequently to upload my files, is it possible to have the sync media library script run on a scheduled basis or is there a way to create a cron job for it?

Cheers
Sandy

No. You would have to integrate the functionality to e.g. the internal cron of wordpress.

Best,
Michael

Howdy TWG,

In that case I have a phpscript/widget on the front page that only admins can see which they can click and it will rename uploaded files to a certain format, is it possible to inject into that code a call to initiate the plugin's sync process in a similar way that clicking the sync button would initiate the process?

Cheers
Sandy

I think the effort to do this is the same as using the wordpress cron :).
I looked in the api and the cron seems not hard to use.

The functions simply have to be copied and the output stuff has to be removed because it is not needed.

Best,
Michael

Hi,

I just played around with the wordpress cron and I'll add the automatic sync to the next version.

Do you want to test this version?

I currently work on the issue that files should not by synced by the cron when a file is uploaded at the same time.
So that half uploaded images get synconized...

Get WFU 2.15.

It's now implemented.
