Hello,

I installed JFUploader. All my registered users have now a personal folder in "images/uploaders/username

The problem is that i don't know how to assign these folders in each user joomla account. What i want is that when a user wants to search the server for a file (image,video...) he is in his own folder (without the possibility to see other folders) and not in the standard joomla images/

I hope i was clear (sorry for my poor english today)

Thanks for any help.

Where do you want to search? You of course have to guilde your users to the JFUploader somewhere. e.g. create a menu entry or by using the jfu editor button.

I have already created an user menu item where users can manage their files.

I speak of the "edit item window" where users can insert an image or a video. There is an option to browse the server (with same parameter for everybody specified in images/). I want that the "browse server" refers to the JFuploader user folder. I know where the php file is stored in K2 for the configuration of the options but i don't know how to proceed to change the standard folder for each user.

You can't. JFUploader does not change the default media manager of Joomla.

You have e.g. to disable the upload capabilities in the default editor and use the JFUploader button.
And where is a "Edit item window"?

Normally you can offer a menu item with the jfuploader and disable all other uploaders.

Best, Michael
