Hello,

after the upgrade to the version 2.16 I get the following error when I try to open JFUploader in the Joomla administration menu:

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in [...]/administrator/components/com_jfuploader/admin.jfuploader.php on line 127

Is this a known error? Can you help me?

Thank you!

Which Joomla version do you use?

Because the line 127 only exist in the JFUploader version for Joomla 1.5.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I have currently 1.5.23 running on my systems. I will update to .25 and let you know.

I just made a clean 1.5.25 installation with JFU 2.16.
Everything works fine there.

So your problem seems not be related to the versions.

do you have any problems with other components?

Best,
Michael

No, no problems with other components, but the problem came first when I upgraded to PHP 5.3.3

I found a solution: After installing the component, I have to clear the cache, purge the expired cache and click on Global Check-in (or one of this ... I click on all)

Very strange: it works after that.

Thank you!

So maybe some old stuff was cached that caused this problem.

Best,
Michael
