Hi There, thanks for what seems to be a great extension. I did have it going for a little while while I was testing it. however for some reason it has stopped working and I cant work out why. It seems now when I log in on the front end as a user using hte 'frontend' profile and press the 'upload button' nothing happens. I then logged into the back end as the administrator and tried the upload again there, but the same thing happened. It was okay after installing and I uploaded a few things with no issues! I turned on debugging and I got: Code: 09.26.2011 1:52:15 - Action:dir; Directory: ./__/__/__/__ Request: /administrator/components/com_jfuploader/tfu/tfu_file.php?action=dir&dir=&ts=1316994734690&tfu_rn=1311535695473449376776996625408&tfu_is_flash_10=1&tfu_ut=-1&TFUSESSID=vm3ai7qgd9rb1rhm0j40cpbfc6 Stack: tfu_file.php:57:tfu_debug:Action:dir; Directory: ./../../../.. I also thought it might be an IE issue since I started testing with Chrome and then the issues started happrning when I tested in IE 8, but it now doesn't work in Chrome either. I have changed all the things I could think of like adding the site to the trusted sites, disabling pop-up blocker, but so far nothing. Running Joomla 1.7 and JFUploader 2.14.3 Any ideas? Thanks J. |

have you read howto 1 of the TFU FAQ? There are explained the different server settings that can cause problems. Your error description is not detailed enough to say more. Is the server listing displayed? If you click on the upload button and nothing happens make sure the flash plugin is installed properly. - Michael |

Thanks yes I read it. I am also stumped since it was going successfully so I know flash was going etc. We run flash 10.3 I don't have any .htaccess files. The server is xampp running on a windows machine. I don't get any error messages or anything, the flash loads, I can see the files/folders and navigate fine on the left hand side. The refresh button works okay, I manually added a text file to the upload folder and hit refresh and it appeared okay. When I click the upload button, the button depresses, I used to then get a dialog for me to browse to the file to update - but now nothing happens. Hope this helps,or any other info I can provide? Which os and which browser do ou use? Have you tried ab different maschine? Because this seems to be a problem oft the flash plugin. Michael |

Thanks for the help but I found it. A collegue of mine had disabled running flash locally which didn't seem to effect flash online, however I guess it did effect calls to the local filesystem for functions such as uploading. Turning it back on worked fine. hope this helps if someone else is having an issue. Thanks. |
