Hi, Take a look at the image I have attached. It is an normal jpg that is resized when uploaded. I have tried different resize options but without luck - also different images with same result. Is this a known issue? And how do I proceed? I use Joomla 1.7, and JFU 2.14. Best regards Morten

Do you use gdlib or image magick for resize? How much php memory do you have available? What are the dimensions of your images? - Michael |

The picture that was attached had the initial dimension 3264x2448/180 dpi and was taken directly from a canon. The image magick check was enabled in the JFU config. I was not able to figure out the php memory size. I have to ask a basic question. If gdlib/image magick is different methods for resizing img, then where do I have the option to chose between them? |

php memory size is shown under help/limit you can switch between gdlib and image magick in the profile configuration. The check only tells you if it is available. In the profile you can choose if it is used. The image is quite big. So I think you could have a memory problem there... - Michael |

Now I have tried the gdlib (image magick not available) on a reduced image of the one that failed (now 1440x1080, size 131kb), and it still failes and produces an image equal to the one I've attached before. The PhP memory is about 65536 Kb How can I make Image Magick an option? Is there an issue with resizing in the software? |

Maybe the gdlib is not installed properly or your image is somehow not compatible with gdlib. for image magick you actually have to have image magick somewhere in the path. - Michael |

Hi Michael, I have it up and running. I had to enable magick at the host and this seems to have fixed the issues with bad resizing. Thanks for your help, it was very inspiring... Best regards Morten |
