Post subject:  Folder path with PHP vars

Hello! :P

Can I somehow integrate a PHP var inside the "Upload folder" parameter in a JFU profile?
For example (folder name by current year):

Upload folder = path/to/folder/<?php echo date('Y') ?>

The example above didn't work. What Is the right way to do this?

Thanks 8)

you would have to change quite some thing for this because you need to parse this and additionally create this folders if they don't exist.
This would be a customization I can do if you like.

The main question for me about a change like this is the effect on the abillity to get updates for JFU smoothly.
Let's say tomorrow ther's a new version of JFU, would I be able to update and still have this special twik?

About creating the folders - it's fine, the important thing for me is only the abillity to point to the folder automaticly.

Thanks,
Or

If then this will be a new feature if some patterns are supported. e.g. through the master profile this is available for the user.

e.g. a pattern like {year} {month} ... has to be defined, implemented and documented!

That sounds EXCELLENT! :D
Should I expect a "private" development of this soon, or only on the next JFU release (wich can also be soon :P)?

Thanks very much!

This would be a custom implementation where you have to send me your requirements. I'll send you an estimation how much this would be and you can then decide if you like it or not...

OK, so I'll need a day or two to characterize the requirements.
Do you prefer I'll send them here, or privtely by email to you?

Please send them by e-mail. I'll make an estimation then and send you the result.
