Post subject: | protect users that not assigned to user/profile mapping |
Dear All, I installed jfuploader on joomla 1.5.20. I have the problem, all users joomla is not assigned to user/profile mapping is able to upload and delete files to installing folder that should be only accessed by joomal admin. But for all users joomla is assigned to user/profile mapping is normally, they just upload and delete to their folder mapping. The problem occurred while I choice Group ID on menu setting. Otherwise, if I choice Profile ID on menu setting, all users joomla is not assigned to user/profile mapping is able to upload and delete files to profile's folder mapping. How to protect all users joomla that not assigned to user/profile mapping, so they can not upload and delete the files? Thanks, nast |

please read the help. You have to use a default profile in a group (which is the one without users). There you can e.g. disabled the flash at all. if you use profiles only the user names are not used at all because everyone who can access the menu item can access the flash profile you assigned. - Michael |

The default profile is NOT in the same group. You have to use 2 for this profile as well. And there you can actually simply disable the flash and display a message only. - Michael |
