Post subject:  Problems with plugins: log_plugin, db_plugin

I just upgraded to JFU 2.11 and had time to test the additional plugins. Great work :D

Unfortetunately the log_plugin and db_plugin do not work AND damage normal functionality of the main component.

Main issue: Managing of folders and files do not work (create, delete, rename, ...)
When I delete the plugins from the tfu subfolder everything is okay.

The log file reports: ERROR 8 ...db_plugin.ph, line 66:...SQL safe mode in effect - ignoring host...

Something wrong how I set up the plugins (just copy them into the tfu folder)?

The problem is that on your server the sql_save_mode is enabled which causes the script to stop. (the db_plugin - the log_plugin should work fine...)
I try now to connect with and without login and the plugin does not stop the whole script if you have an error but just don't log.

Please try the attached version and give me feedback.

If this does not help you have to disable the sql.safe_mode on your server.

File comment: Patched version that takes care of the sql_save_mode as well.

OK. I changed my php.ini and installed the attached db_plugin.
It seems to work but not the db_view_plugin.
The table view is not like in your example and the sorting for an item does not work - see attached screenshot

you have to redownload the viewer - i have updated it to version 1.1 about an hour ago.
I had to made the plugin compatible with 2.11.

One more question to the database log.

As far as I see there is no size limitation of the logs. Right? Also no posiblity to delete entries?

The file log is rotating. For the database log you could add a simple query that does this... It's up to you if you use the number of entries or e.g. a date...
