hello,

I have configured everything and everything works nicely on the website.
But I would like to know how to enable ftp upload. I mean, if a user registers to the website, a FTP is created automatically according to his username, using which he can upload files to the server using any FTP client.

Please let me know how to configure this and I'm trying to get this working and couldn't found a solution for this.

There is no such feature. A folder for the user can be created with ftp credentials. But no ftp accounts are created.

Hello,

I have seen some website who uses your component and when we register to their website, the FTP accounts are also created automatically. I don't want to list the name of the website but you can google the word "clipping path india".

Thanks,
Sandeepan

JFU does use the credentials from Joomla. And folders are created automatically by JFU.

So i think they have another plugin that creates the ftp access when you register in Joomla or a shell script that does this.
But this is very system dependent.

e.g. look here:
http://forums.devshed.com/ftp-help-113/ ... 09381.html
he uses a combination of php and shell scripts..

Best, Michael
