Hi Michael,

I know this subject has come up in the forum before. I've read some of the threads, but I'm still confused.

I want to turn on "$upload_notification_email", but I'm not quite sure where to do it:

In another discussion we had, you said TFU picked up most of it's config from config.php, but I may have misunderstood what you were saying.

Looking in admin/upload/tfu_config.php there is a note that you should create my_tfu_config.php and make changes there. However, admin/upload/tfu_config.php already exists and has several functions (or whatever PHP calls them) in it and I'm not sure where to put the configuration change.

Is there a configuration page in the Admin for upload like there is for the gallery itself? I thought I had seen one before but that may have been back when I was trying JFU.

I'm using TWG 1.7.8 and TFU 2.10

What is the proper place to put $upload_notification_email? If it goes in the existing my_tfu_config.php file, where should it be placed in the file?

Thanks, and sorry to bother you again.

T.

Hi,

tfu_config.php is the default config file. I normally never change this (makes is easy if I e.g. update TFU just to copy the new files to TWG and JFU).

Changes should be made in my_tfu_config.php - in TWG I make some settings in this file. But not all.

So if you like to add the notification email you should add this setting to my_tfu_config.php.

- Michael
