Post subject:  Creating Sub Gallery

I'm currently trying to create a sub gallery, I've read How To 21, and managed to get the HOME link to direct me back to the correct page.

However the top navigation #removed_broken_link still take me to the gallery overview, ideally these would take me back to the linking page.

For your information SITE MAP
Home page
-Gallery (Gallery Overview in Iframe inc. Egypt gallery)
-Contact
-Egypt
- - Egypt Gallery (Direct access to Egypt gallery with links back to Egypt page rather than Gallery Overview)
- - About me
- - Diary

I'm sure I'm missing something, but I've just started going in circles

Just the following.

Quote:
#removed_broken_linkhtml/egypt___home.htm

then put the root.txt in the subdir - the root.txt makes the Home in the left corner - it does not remove the navigation path.

you see it here:

Thanks for that, it was not until you said

that I remembered I'd put a root.txt file in the main gallery directory while testing a few things last week.

It must be my age

Post subject:  Break out of Iframe

Just when I thought I'd nearly done

The HOME link works, but does not return me to ADDRESS /egypt_home.htm, but an iFrame with this page loaded within it.

I have tried adding to this URL to force it to break out of the iFrame (used target="_top" plus a few other variations of this with no success).

A. How can I fix this?

B. Can I remove the Egypt gallery from the overview while still accessing it with a link?

A: add it in the function writeRootLink in inc/topnavigation.inc.php

i'll add target="_top" to the next build too.

B: use $exclude_directories ;).

1 down 1 to go.

B: use $exclude_directories :D Sorted

currently has me stumped, If I remove the root.txt I don't get the HOME link, and if I update topnavigation.inc.php and leave root.txt then the HOME link is HTTP://SITEADDRESS_HTTP://SITEADDRESS

I'm just guessing that I've not added the correct info to topnavigation.inc.php, or added it in the wrong place, if you could let me know what and where I need to place it in topnavigation.inc.php I promise to give you a day off

P.S. Thanks for your patience.

you only have to add a target -

redownload rc2 - and check the file - and you'll see ;).
