First of all, I am still very happy with TWG and all its features and options to customize!
Really the best gallery wolrdwide 8)

Today I updated to 1.8.8 and found some stuff I need to modify.

1. Almost all images are in my gallery are reduced to 800 pixel width before uploaded .
If the gallery is opened and the image is in fullscreen mode (slideshow) than the image is enlarged to fill the screen.
This causes blurr effects as the screensize is larger than the image resolution.
:?: Is there any way to avoid it / prevent TWG from upscaling the img?

2. changing the metadescription tag...
In the previous version I did the changes directly inside the head.inc.php file line 106 to 111.
Due to the update I would like to apply the modification inside the my_config file, but the $metadescription inside my_config does not offer to provide seperat descriptions by language.
:?: Shall I keep modifying the inc file or is there any way to set it via my_config?

1. don't use the fullscreen slideshow ;). Use the normal fading one.

2. You can define language dependent config files like described in
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/de/faq.php#h17.
But this only works in subfolders.

Hi Michael,

I did some changes and now there's a popup showing the image... but no slideshow...
Code:
$small_pic_size = 800;
   $resize_only_if_too_big=false;
   $use_small_pic_size_as_height=false;
     $maxXSize = 1024;
$enable_download = true;
$enable_download_counter=true;
  $enable_direct_download=false;
  $open_as_popup=true;
    $click_on_popup_dl_image = false;
    $open_download_in_browser = false;
      $open_in_maximized_view=false;
      $open_download_in_new_window=true;
  $enable_download_as_zip=false;

If I change $open_in_maximized_view=false; from false to true, TWG will open the image as fullscreen with the possibility to start the slideshow (or go to the next/previous image)
If it is set to false, a popup will open but without the possibility so start a slideshow...
a slideshow is only possible inside the gallery view (with the image thumbnails below the image

My intention is to have a slideshow like in popup mode...
Maybe it is a simply switch I need to find, but it's so simple I just don't 'get it...

I added 2 screens...

imagesize changes within one gallery...
files from chache folder deleted did not change the size...

please compare #removed_broken_linkgalerie/index. ... hre.jpg#14
with the following images... (which are displayed smaller in size)
any idea why this happens?

the first 15 images were uploaded today, others on 31st of July...
all are uplaoded via ftp... and on 31st I have had TWG recreate the whole image cache (which took about 1 hr)
