Just installed your gallery and I am likeing it a lot so far but im haveing some problems. Sorry if this a very basic question but to create a new gallery do i just create a folder in the pictures folder and drop pictures into this newly created folder? I have tried this but when I view the gallery the folder is there but there is no preview and when i click on it nothing appears. Also is it posible to click on the glallery and have it jump straight to the screen with the scrolling previews underneath? My gallery is www.digitaldon.co.uk Thanks |

Hi, You posted in the german part of the forum . I have checked you info.php - Memory limit O.k. but don't use large images (8M) how big are your images? if you are > 1.5 Mb I think you can have problems! About the thumbspage - yes - there is a switch in the config. skip_thums... like shown in demo 3 in the webpage. /Michael |

I think they are to big. Problem is the you have 8 MB php memory. You file is 1.7 MB - uncompresses I think maybe 10-15 mb - too much already. + php needs some "working" memory for e.g. resizing ... I always rezize my images too max 1400 before uploading with http://www.nabocorp.com/cam2pc/download.php nice about this tool is that you can keep the exif info I you want your big images you need more memory - 32 is normaly perfect. /Michael |
